We will continue to inform any families if they have been exposed to COVID-19 and handle each case with great attention to keeping everyone healthy.

Trilogy’s COVID-19 Policies & Procedures

  • Face Masks are REQUIRED for anyone 10+ years of age while inside the building at all times. Any person refusing to wear a mask will be asked to leave the building.  
  • Dancers will wear their masks while participating in their dance class. Dancers 9 and younger are encouraged to wear a mask during their classes. 
  • To safeguard our staff and dancers, parents will need to remain outside the studio during their dancer’s class unless they need to handle business with the Front Desk in person.
  • Dancers ages four and under parents’ may stay in Trilogy and social distance with masks. If you are a current family and your child does not have to have you in the building, you can always watch your child dance via Zoom this Fall. New families may need to be in the building to get their dancer adjusted; therefore, if your child is independent, please give new families the opportunity to be in the building.
  • Everyone will have their temperature checked as they arrive. If anyone’s temperature reads over 99′, they will not be allowed in the building.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available in all three studios and at the Front Desk. Dancers are required to use hand sanitizer upon entering and exiting each studio.
  • Dancers will be asked to remain 6 feet apart while inside the studio. Teachers will use “dance dots” to show the dancers where their own space is.
  • When in the common building areas, please maintain a distance of 6 feet apart from others.
  • We will minimize the risk of spread by limiting the use of reusable props.
  • Water bottles must be clearly labeled with the dancer’s name to minimize the possibility of cross-contamination.
  • Studios will continue to be sanitized after each class.
  • If a dancer or faculty member is not feeling well, we ask that they please stay home.
  • If any dancer, member of their family, or faculty member comes in contact with someone that has tested positive for COVID-19, we ask that you not return to Trilogy for 14 days.
  • If a dancer or a faculty member has tested positive or has been exposed and made aware, we will notify any dance family of that class or time frame of exposure.
  • If you are aware of someone that has COVID-19 or has been exposed, this should not be discussed socially and should be brought to COVID-19 Team, as soon as possible.
  • All Fall & Spring classes will be offered over ZOOM to be taught in a hybrid format.

Q: What is the risk of my child becoming sick with COVID-19?

A: Based on available evidence, children do not appear to be at a higher risk for COVID-19 than adults. While some children and infants have been sick with Covid-19, adults make up most of the known cases to date. However, a few children have developed Multisystem inflammatory syndrome ( MIS_C). Currently, information about this syndrome is limited. CDC is working with state and local health departments to learn more about MIS-C.

Q: What is the difference between cleaning and disinfecting?

A: Cleaning with soap and water removes germs, dirt, and impurities from surfaces. It lowers the risk of spreading infection. Disinfecting kills germs on surfaces. By killing germs on a surface after cleaning, it can further lower the risk of spreading infection.

Q: What is routine cleaning? How frequently should facilities be cleaning to prevent the spread of COVID-19?

A: Routine cleaning is the everyday cleaning practices that businesses and communities normally use to maintain a healthy environment. Surfaces frequently touched by multiple people, such as door handles, bathroom surfaces, and handrails should be cleaned with soap and water or another detergent at least daily when facilities are in use. More frequent cleaning and disinfection may be required based on the level of use. For example, certain surfaces and objects in public spaces, such as shopping carts and point of sales keypads, should be cleaned and disinfected before each use. Cleaning removes dirt and impurities including germs, from surfaces. Cleaning alone does not kill germs, but it reduces the number of germs on surfaces.

Q: How long do companies have to be closed for disinfection after exposure? How long until other workers can come to work?

A: Companies do not necessarily need to close after a person with confirmed or suspected COVID- 19 has been in a company facility. The area(s) used or visited by the ill person should be closed for 24 hours or as long as possible. Open outside doors and windows as much as possible ensuring that doing so does not pose a safety risk to children using the facility ( i.e. make sure that children are not able to enter the closed-off area through any windows or doors.) and use ventilating fans to increase air circulation in the area. Once the area has been appropriately disinfected, it can be opened for use. Workers without close contact with the person with confirmed or suspected COVID-19 can return to work immediately after disinfection is completed.
