Shea began her dance and gymnastics training at the age of 5 in Michigan. After a few years, she exclusively trained and competed as a gymnast at Geddert’s Twistars USA Gymnastics club until the age of 14.
After transitioning from gymnastics back to dance, she resumed her dance training at Elite Dance Company in East Lansing, Michigan where she participated in multiple musical theater programs and studied ballet, pointe, jazz, hip-hop, acrobatics, and contemporary dance styles.
Shea moved to San Antonio in 2014, where she continued her dance training as a competitive dancer up until her high school graduation. Upon graduation, she moved to Chicago to further pursue her dance training at Lou Conte Dance Studio, Hubbard Street Dance Center, and The Joffrey Ballet Chicago.
Shea returned to San Antonio in 2017 to work as a dance instructor and choreographer with Diamond Dance Academy and eventually Trilogy Dance Center.
In February of 2020, Shea auditioned for and was accepted into Broadway Dance Center’s Professional Semester Dance Training Program in New York City with a focus in Jazz. Due to COVID-19, she decided to remain in San Antonio and pour all her energy into N Varsity Dance Company and Trilogy Hill Country.
Shea is now a key component of Trilogy Hill Country, Move & Groove Dance Program, The Trilogy Leadership Team, and currently serves as the Director of N Varsity Dance Company.
