Our Kids & Teens program is designed with flexibility in mind-offering both developmental (recreational) and competitive training options. Whether your dancer is looking to build confidence, stay active, or pursue dance at a higher level, we have a place for them.
Our front desk team works closely with each family to help place dancers in the classes that best align with their goals, experience level, and commitment. No matter the path, all dancers receive high-quality instruction in a positive, growth-focused environment.

At Trilogy, we believe every dancer deserves a training path that supports their goals, passion, and pace of growth. We offer a wide variety of dance classes for kids, including Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Contemporary, and Lyrical Dance.
Developmental Program
Our developmental classes are perfect for dancers who want to grow their skills, build confidence, and enjoy dance in a supportive, encouraging space.
This pathway is ideal for dancers with little to no prior experience, as well as those who want to train consistently without the added commitment of company requirements.
Dancers in this program will:
- Learn strong foundational technique

- Build coordination, strength, and flexibility
- Gain confidence and performance skills
This option allows dancers to progress at their own pace while still receiving high-quality training in a positive environment.

Competitive Program
Our competitive program is for dancers ready to take their training to the next level.
Designed for committed dancers, this pathway focuses on advanced technique, versatility, and artistic growth in a structured, team-driven environment.
Dancers will:
- Train multiple days per week in styles like Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and more
- Build strong technique, control, and consistency
- Develop performance quality, musicality, and artistry
- Attend competitions, conventions, and performance opportunities
Training is led by our in-house faculty and enhanced with guest choreographers and master classes-giving dancers exposure to diverse styles and current industry trends.
Beyond the studio, dancers gain valuable stage experience while building discipline, confidence, and strong team connections.
For those pursuing dance beyond high school, we also offer guidance through the college audition process.
Placement is by audition and faculty evaluation.

FITNESS DISGUISED
Face it. Between the foods we eat and the constant sitting and staring into screens and devices, many kids aren’t getting enough regular exercise.
Our dance classes for kids are full exercise routines disguised as a boatload of fun! That’s because they are jam-packed with high-intensity activities, games, and dance routines that are all designed to disguise the repetition of training.
Of course it’s important for your kids to exercise and wear themselves out – they stay healthy, sleep well, and develop their minds and bodies. But just as important, our classes will help develop at a young age the physical habits they need to grow into healthy adults.
Classical Ballet Dance Classes for Kids
A classical form of technical dance characterized by grace and precision of movement and by elaborate formal gestures, steps, and poses. Steps are based on turned out positions of the legs. Ballet emphasizes the upbeat of movement.
Classical ballet classes offer kids a fun and challenging way to tone their muscles and learn what their bodies can do. With a unique combination of art and fitness, students learn to express themselves through movement in a safe and nurturing environment. Our experienced teachers will guide them each step of the way.
HIP HOP CLASSES FOR KIDS
An urban form of dance associated with “street crews” which evolved into a structured class. Movement is low to the ground and influenced by today’s youth culture. Class includes techniques of locking, popping, and krumping.
Hip Hop dancing offers kids a unique way to express themselves through movement and musicality. As a form of street dancing, hip hop is flexible and highly personal. Dancers learn how to tell stories and express their feelings through dance.
Hip Hop is a high-intensity dance form that allows kids to release their pent-up energy. When kids take hip hop classes, it helps them manage stress and anxiety by allowing them to burn it off in a safe and constructive way. Over time, hip hop dancers build and tone muscles and gain all-over strength that will keep them healthy and help them with other physical activities.
JAZZ CLASSES FOR CHILDREN
An evolving form of dance based on technique, using isolations, rhythms, and contrasting Movements. Steps are based on mostly parallel positions of the legs. Jazz emphasizes the downbeat of movement. Includes styles such as latin, lyrical, contemporary, funk, and pop.
There’s something about jazz dance that helps kids acquire confidence in themselves. As they learn, class after class, to control their bodies and movements, they realize that they can accomplish anything.
Tap Dance for kids teaches performance and rhythm
A percussive form of dance based on the use of metal plates on leather shoes. Steps include syncopation and rhythms and can be technical or improvised. Rhythm Tap: Uses legs to make a louder, more grounded sound. Broadway Style: Uses arms and legs to appear more upright and theatrical.
Tap dancing is unique because the sounds dancers make with their feet become as much a part of the performance as the movements themselves. It’s a style that requires rhythm and a strong sense of musicality – and it teaches both. Tap dancing is fun and social, with group performances and solos.
Working with a group helps kids to build communication skills and allows them to coordinate and cooperate with one another.
Tricks for Dancers
Our “Tricks for Dancers” classes are waiting for you child! With dance moves from ballet, jazz, modern, and lyrical dance, this is a dance class unlike any other.
We combine classical dance techniques and steps with tricks to create a broad palette for creative and artistic expression. Dancers looking for a challenge that pushes physical and creative boundaries can find a home in these classes. The combination of dance and tricks with music brings dancers and audiences to the pinnacle of artistry.
Our experienced instructors meet students where they are, providing the necessary technical foundation that allows students to soar.
Contemporary & Lyrical Dance
Experience the many different styles of lyrical choreography, along with cutting-edge turns, and jumps. Students will get a warm-up and learn choreography focusing on memorization skills and style adaptability.
